Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Use,” “T&C”) carefully before starting to use the services and facilities provided by PyraMedz (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms shape your access to and utilization of our medical tourism facilitation services, including medical consultations, booking arrangements (accommodation, transportation), and other relevant support.
**By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and obligate yourself to follow these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access or use our services.
1. Definitions

- “PyraMedz,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”: refers to (Intellekt Hub – FZ – LLC), operating as PyraMedz.

- “Client,” “Patient,” “You”: refers to any individual or identity using our service.

- “Medical Service Providers”: refers to the independent clinics, doctors, surgeons, dentists, consultants, and other healthcare experts in Egypt with whom we partner.

- “Complementary Service Providers”: refers to the independent third parties providing non-medical services such as accommodation, transportation facilities, and other related services.

- “Services”: refers to the medical facilities and services introduced by PyraMedz. This includes, but is not limited to, initial consultations, coordination with medical services providers, booking arrangements, and ongoing support.

- “Package”: refers to a predesigned set of medical services and complementary services offered by PyraMedz.

- “Customized Plan”: refers to a tailored set of medical and complementary services arranged by PyraMedz based on the client’s needs and requests.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By contacting us, requesting a quote, booking a package or customized plan, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be obligated to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. Our Services (Role of PyraMedz)
PyraMedz acts only as a facilitator and coordinator for your medical journey to Egypt. Our services contain

- Initial consultation & Assessment: Understanding your medical requirements and preferences.

- Medical Provider Selection: Offering a wide range of licensed Medical Services Providers in Egypt based on your case. You can retain the right to choose your preferred doctor/clinic.

- Coordination: Arranging online/teleconsultations with Medical Service Providers.

- Booking Assistance: Facilitating booking of medical procedures, accommodations, and local transportation through our reliable partners.

- Communication: Performing as a focal point between you and Medical Service Providers/Complementary Service Providers.

- Post-Treatment Follow-up: Arranging with doctors for post-service, emergency, or inquiries/requests.
** Important Disclaimer Regarding Medical Services:

- PyraMedz is NOT a medical provider: we don’t offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical decisions, procedures, and treatment plans are only the responsibility of the Medical Service Providers you choose.

- We ensure the credibility and professionalism of our Medical Service Providers network according to our quality assurance and selection criteria. However, PyraMedz bears no responsibility for the direct medical services provided by them, including but not limited to the results/outcomes of treatment procedures, potential complications, or medical malpractice.

- Any helpful information provided by PyraMedz regarding medical procedures, treatments, risks, or recovery times is for guidance only. It should never replace the advice of a qualified medical professional.
4. Client Responsibilities
Our clients using our PyraMedz platform are responsible for

- Providing Accurate Information: Submitting complete medical history and diagnosis reports. Right personal details and valid travel information such as arrival/departure dates and timings, etc. Neglecting that may cause cancellation of services or unpredictable hurdles for which PyraMedz will not be responsible.

- Informed Consent: Providing informed agreement for any medical procedures to the Medical Service Provider directly.

- Following Medical Advice: complying with the instructions and treatment plans offered by your dedicated Medical Service Provider before, within, and after your medical treatment.

- Travel Documents: Ensure that you own all necessary yet valid travel documents. This includes your passport, visa, and any required health certificates for entry into Egypt and departure to your country.

- Communication: Informing PyraMedz of any changes to your medical conditions, travel plans, or personal details.

- Financial Obligations: Making sure that all expenses for your packages/treatment are paid in time.

- Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that all our patients obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, interruptions, and any unpredictable complications. We are not responsible for losses that happen because of insufficient insurance.

- Fellowship: understanding that in specific cases, our patient should have a companion during the medical trip, and arranging this if necessary.

- Accessibility Needs: Reporting any special needs such as being a solo female traveler or needing wheelchair access, in advance so we can arrange suitable services.
5. Medical Treatment and Risks

- All medical treatments are provided only by the Medical Service Providers network. PyraMedz is a facilitator acting as a smooth connection between worldwide patients and Medical Service Providers which is not responsible for the quality, outcome, or any events related to the medical procedures.

- You recognize that all medical procedures contain risks. It is your responsibility to discuss and realize the potential complications and alternative solutions, if they exist, with your chosen clinic/doctor before proceeding.

- In case of unpredicted issues or emergencies, the Medical Service Provider will take necessary actions. Additional costs due to such complications will be your own responsibility.
6. Booking and Payments

- Deposit: There is a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total determined medical services cost. Which is required to confirm your booking. The amount will be discussed and agreed upon during your online consultation with your chosen doctor. And a secure payment link will be sent to your email and WhatsApp for this purpose.

- Balance Payment: The remaining 75% of the total cost for medical services is payable through our platform or upon your arrival in Egypt and after you get your medical service completed at the chosen clinic.

- Complementary Services: Considering seasons and availability, all fees for your additional services will be communicated beforehand, and arrangements for their payment will be acknowledged.

- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, secure payment links, or bank transfers.

- Price Modifications: While we strive for clarity and transparency, prices provided are estimated and may vary based on final consultation, specific medical needs, any unpredictable medical/non-medical complications, seasons, and inflation.

- Special Rates: PyraMedz offers dedicated rates from our licensed medical care providers, which makes our services more affordable than direct booking.
7. Cancellation and Refund
PyraMedz ensures transparency and clarity at every stage during your medical journey. Please review the following policy concerning payments for your medical treatments:

- Non refundable deposit: A 25% down payment is required to secure your medical treatment. Please consider that the initial 25% is nonrefundable, as it covers operational costs, initial consultation arrangements, and pre-booking efforts with our medical and complementary services.

- Full Payment Refund (case-by-case Basis): for instance, where a full payment has been made for your medical treatment, the eligibility for a refund will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis considering that:
– The cancellation and refund policies of the Medical Service Providers involved.
– The time of your refund request and your scheduled treatment date.
– Regarding refunds for the accommodation, transportation, and other complementary services, these are subject to availability.
– Refunds may be eligible in case of inflation or pricing changes.

- Potential Partial or Full Refund: After case evaluation and reviewing the relevant provider’s policies, if we find that you are eligible for a refund, you may receive a partial or full refund of the amount paid regardless of the nonrefundable 25% deposit.

- Our Support During the Process: Our support team is committed to providing you with full guidance and support at every step of the process. We are here to help you understand the policies and ensure that any eligible refunds are perfectly processed.

- To Request a Refund: Please contact our support team early by sending an email to (email address) containing your booking details and the reason for your request within (5) business days.
8. Rescheduling and Extensions

- Requests to reschedule or change your stay must be sent via email to support@pyramedz.com

- We will work on facilitating such requests according to the availability of Medical Service Providers, accommodation, and other complementary service providers.

- Any additional charge due to rescheduling or extensions will be your responsibility.

- We aim to process such requests within 48 hours.
9. Travel and Accommodation

- PyraMedz helps you in booking your accommodation and local transportation based on your preferences.

- These services are provided by independent complementary service providers, and their terms and conditions will also apply and be considered.

- PyraMedz is not responsible for any issues happening from the services provided by complementary service providers such as hotel quality, transport delays, losses of items, accidents, etc. However, we will assist in resolving reasonable complaints.
10. Data Privacy
Your privacy is essential to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal data and sensitive
medical information according to our Privacy Policy. By confirming these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of Responsibility
PyraMedz acts as a facilitator. We will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This include but not limited to, loss of profit, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, caused by:

- Medical malpractice, negligence, or negative outcomes by Medical Service Providers.

- Any acts or omissions of complementary service providers such as accommodation providers, airlines, or transport companies.

- Unpredictable circumstances which include but are not limited to natural disasters, political instability, epidemics, travel disruptions, or majeures.

- Your failure to provide accurate information or follow medical advice.

- Any direct dealing you have with Medical Service Providers or complementary service providers outside of our direct facilitation.
** In no event will PyraMedz’s total liability to you for damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you to PyraMedz for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PyraMedz, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

- Your use of our services.

- Your breach of these Terms.

- Your interactions with Medical Service Providers or Complementary Service Providers.

- Your failure to comply with laws or regulations in Egypt or your home country.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our materials, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PyraMedz or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

- These Terms will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

- Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof will be settled amicably through negotiation between the parties.

- If an amicable resolution can’t be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Egypt.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
16. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last Update” date. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Pyramedz regarding our services and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
